Mayfield Street is a non-registered NDIS provider.

We can offer access to ceramics for NDIS recipients on plan managed or self-managed plans.

We offer self-directed studio access for 3 hours

Private instruction in Wheel throwing or Hand-building.

Support workers are welcome to participate but must pay.

1.Self directed studio access

Monday- Friday 9.30am - 12.30pm, 12.30pm - 3.30pm

$55 per 3 hour single session

All materials, tools and firing are included for wheel throwing, hand-building, and ceramic painting. (Painting of pieces made by us incurs an additional cost of $30 per piece.) Providers are billed the one service.

2.Private instruction

1 hour of individualised wheel throwing or hand-building instruction in addition to Studio Access.

Private instruction is an additional services on top of your self-directed studio access. Your provider will be billed for both the studio access fee AND the private instruction ($105) so please ensure you have approval for the additional instruction.

One of our crafts people will take NDIS clients through ceramic processes on the pottery wheel or in hand building that will enable them to independently work with clay at 2 Mayfield Street. Our intention is to make pottery as accessible as possible and as a result will do our best to modify the instruction to meet your individual needs.

3.Support worker participation 

Support people are most welcome to take part as well, but additional payment is needed if the work is intended to be finished and taken home. You are welcome to pay on the day.
